What does it do?
In short: Launch autotuning, the XTEQ-50 will scan all muxes received from the TV antenna and will adjust individually each mux output level to the same output level. That’s all. Automatically done in less than 1 minute. Sounds great?
The XTEQ-50 is a two VHF+UHF and two UHF inputs connected to ultra-high selectivity filters, one BI/FM input and, for *p version, one full band auxiliary input MATV muxes equalizer and signal extender/amplifier.
Includes 32 VHF/UHF ultra-high selectivity filters. Each filter bandwidth may be adjusted to 1 or 2 muxes, the gain of each filter is adjusted automatically and has 40dB AGC dynamic range, to get same output level for each mux disregarding different reception conditions and signal variation.
This bank of 32 selective VHF/UHF filters provides an extremely flexible solution to equalize antenna signals of different levels and automatically take care of signal variation providing the correct output level for MATV installations.
Tilt/Slope adjustment to compensate high frequency signals which will suffer more losses on the coaxial cable MATV distribution.
Each of the filters offers also mux conversion from the original mux received from the antenna to another channel more appropriate to distribution in your installation… including 4G/5G bands even if you choose to filter out from the input antenna.
Automatic Output Level Adjustment option (all channels to 115dBµV by default but adjustable from 93 to 113dBµV) is designed to make the installation process smooth, fast and easy.
BI/FM input is used to amplify TV channels and/or FM radio signals on those bands.
Auxiliary full band input (*p version only) used to combine into a single output cable and amplify external devices as TV modulators or transmodulators.
With high output Level (120dBµV or 124dBµV for *p version for digital signals) using low intermodulation output stage, and 50dB gain, the XTEQ-50 is ideal for small, medium, and large MATV or IRS installations.
Fitted with a -30dB test point for signal level and quality measurements, without service interruption.
Fully compatible and transparent to analogue and digital TV signals (COFDM, QAM, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, etc.), so it can be used installations with both signal types.
Digital and analogue signal coexist in the same installation, remember to adjust the digital signals at a level 15dB lower than analogue signals.
Housed in a zamak die cast chassis for rigidity, extra interference immunity and heat transfer offers longer components life.
Can power antenna pre-amplifiers through its inputs at 12VDC or 24 VDC.
